You will find instructions below for how to share links to projects (or project files) when entering Code Club competitions.


Scratch - online:


To share a project created using the online editor at https://scratch.mit.edu, please do as follows:


  • Click the “Share” button in the top right-hand corner of the project editor:


  • You will then be redirected to a different page in your browser with a message, “Your project is now shared.”

  • Copy the URL in the address bar of your browser to your clipboard or make a note of it:


  • Then, paste or enter the link into our form:


  • You may now continue filling out the rest of the entry form.

Scratch - offline


If you are using the offline Scratch editor, please follow these instructions for how to share the project file with us:


  •  Click “File” in the menu bar, then “Save as”


  • Next, you will be asked to name the file and choose a location on your computer for it to be downloaded to:



  • Finally, when filling out the entry form, click the upload box:

  • Locate the Scratch project file on your computer and it will be uploaded, then click OK or press Enter to continue filling out the form (as below)

Trinket


Instructions for how to share a project created in Trinket are below:


  • First, save your project by clicking the “Save” button above the project editor:


  • Next, click the “Share” button, then “Link”:


  • A pop-up message will appear containing the link to the project:

  • Copy and paste the link into the entry form:

  • You can then fill out the rest of the form to submit your entry.

Sonic Pi


Instructions for how to share a project created in Sonic Pi are below:


  • First, save your project by clicking the “Save” button above the project editor:


  • Next, you will be asked to name the file and choose a location on your computer for it to be downloaded to:


  • Finally, when filling out the entry form, click the upload box:

  • Locate the Sonic Pi project file on your computer and it will be uploaded, then click OK or press Enter to continue filling out the form (as below)
